If you have 20 grams of hydrochloric acid and 20 grams of sodium bicarbonate, do you have the same number of moles?

Now think about the baseball and bowling ball analogy that I have mentioned a million times. If we want a 1 to 1 ratio of baseballs to bowling balls and have 50 pounds of baseballs how many pounds of bowling balls would we need?

If you answered 50 pounds than you have not listened to a thing I have been saying. Baseballs and bowling balls do not weigh the same so we can not determine how many bowling balls we need unless we have the weight of one bowling ball and one baseball. The same goes with the 20 grams of HCl and 20 grams of baking soda.
